Schisma · 2017
Schisma tells a story of individuation. In a friendship that has both parties guessing who they really are, our protagonist struggles with the dilemma of his existence: the identity of another has the price of his own. The confrontation that ensues leaves them both with one thing less to loose. The material is deeply rooted in modern reality. The depicted events are relevant to all who have seen their identity merge with that of someone else. What is it that truly makes us individuals? This film is an examination of the complexities of identity assimilation and how it can drive you to the edge of your sanity.
